Equinox Gold is seeking an LHDB Miner for its Underground Mining team at Musselwhite. The combined assignment includes Long Hole Drilling, Loading, and Cablebolting, with cross-training and development available. Your work contributes to safe, productive Drill and Blast operations during a 14-days-on, 14-days-off schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Long Hole Drill and Cablebolter equipment accurately
- Install cable and complete slot raise and drop raise work
- Support loading, grouting, blasting, and hole cleaning
- Take timely direction from Drill and Blast supervisors
- Maintain assigned equipment and follow workplace procedures
Requirements:
- One to five years of underground mining experience
- Experience operating heavy machinery is relevant
- Ontario Basic Common Core is required
- Ability to read and interpret engineering prints
- Strong communication and collaborative teamwork skills
