Manage Desjardins’ new Calgary Claim Reporting Specialists team, combining talent development with accurate auto and property claims reporting. This six-month temporary assignment centers on operational excellence and member experience.
The Section Manager oversees intake and reporting activities while creating a collaborative, high-performing team setting. You will coach individuals, manage performance, engage stakeholders, and align team work with Claims Division goals. Knowledge of provincial insurance contracts and relevant leadership experience are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily intake and reporting of auto or property claims
- Ensure service activities meet member and client expectations
- Set objectives and provide continuous performance feedback
- Promote accountability, inclusion, engagement, and talent development
- Support change initiatives and the Claims vision
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum five years’ experience, including one year managing
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading teams
- CIP designation completed or currently in progress
- Intermediate knowledge of Ontario, Alberta, and Atlantic contracts
