Environmental Services II supports a clean, safe setting for patients, visitors, and staff. The position serves the Environmental Services Department at an acute-care community hospital. Success requires communication, organization, time management, and cooperation with staff, patients, and the public.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain clean, safe environments for patients, visitors, and staff
• Follow infection prevention and control best practices
• Work rotating day, evening, and night shifts

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education or equivalent qualification
• Effective, cooperative communication with staff, patients, and public
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Physical ability for lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and stooping
• Previous healthcare housekeeping or groundskeeping experience preferred
