Environmental Services II supports a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The position serves the Environmental Services Department at an acute-care community hospital. Success requires communication, organization, time management, and cooperation with staff, patients, and the public.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain clean, safe environments for patients, visitors, and staff
- Follow infection prevention and control best practices
- Work rotating day, evening, and night shifts
- Complete required competency training, including CPI and WHMIS





Requirements:

- Grade 12 education or equivalent qualification
- Effective, cooperative communication with staff, patients, and public
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Physical ability for lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and stooping
- Previous healthcare housekeeping or groundskeeping experience preferred
