The Facility Operator position is responsible for the day-to-day safe and customer service-oriented operations of waste treatment, oil treatment and water injection. The Operator will be in constant contact with customers and must demonstrate excellent communications skills and a high level of customer service. The Kakwa Facility is a fast paced and exciting facility to learn and grow in. This position is located at SECURE's Kakwa Full Service Terminal, south of Grande Prairie and is a 12-hour shift with a rotating 7x7 schedule. Camp accommodations are available. Responsible and accountable for the day-to-day operation of the facility Responsible for truck unloading, oil emulsion and water Responsible for oil treating with the treater, cooler or tank treating Responsible and accountable for the receipt, terminal storage and transportation of crude oil while adhering to Measurement & Crude Oil Quality compliance Responsible for oil blending, sampling,



and pipeline operations Ensuring that all corporate compliance programs are adhered to Submitting truck tickets summary, daily plant checklists, and balance and transfers to the office General maintenance, ensure that the plant is kept clean and safe A High School Diploma, General Education Diploma or equivalent A minimum of 3 years operational experience in waste processing and oil treating or water injection Midstream terminal operations experience is considered a strong asset Specialty training in boilers, treaters, pumps (all), repairs, shaker/centrifuge and loader is considered an asset safety operations, oil treating & blending, waste processing and water disposal Must be able to document their work, perform and manage cross shift communication and ensure strategic communication with multiple stakeholders Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and safe work practices A valid and acceptable Driver’s license and successful completion of Pre-employment testing for our employees, our customers, our partners, and the communities we operate in.
