Fort McKay First Nation seeks a Custodian skilled in heavy cleaning and disinfection for its Riverside Continuous Care Facility. This permanent full time position is in Fort McMurray.

The Custodian performs comprehensive cleaning duties across the facility. The work includes floor care, restroom servicing, rubbish removal, and disinfecting high contact surfaces. Experience with cleaning chemicals, janitorial equipment, and safety procedures supports success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum building floors
• Disinfect high contact surfaces with appropriate cleaners
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms
• Gather and secure garbage at designated locations
• Clean windows, furniture, fixtures,
  
  
  
  carpets, and mirrors

Requirements:

• Past experience as a custodian or similar role
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, supplies, and techniques
• Ability to perform heavy manual labour for extended periods
• Clean Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector required
