Large buildings and infrastructure General Contractor is seeking a Estimating Manager with experience across major infrastructure projects to join their team in Toronto ON and Vancouver BC. Outpost Recruitment is excited to work with our client on this full-time permanent role. Compile and track analytics relating to project estimating pursuits. Managing, training and or mentoring other estimators and the profit/loss performance of the estimated projects. Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring in: planning, organizing, coordinating, supervising and training estimating personnel You will provide insight and cutting-edge construction solutions to ensure the successful execution of various projects, such as education facilities; office buildings; and mixed-use facilities You will also further hone your skills operating under various delivery methods including Bid-Build, Design-Build, Construction Management and IPD (Integrated Project Delivery). Working knowledge of contract language and legal requirements of contracts. Excellent technical, organizational, managerial and planning skills.



Team leader with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with well developed communication and negotiation skills. The ability to assist in determining bid strategies. Post secondary education (Engineering degree or diploma) Leadership responsibility in commercial/buildings estimating, including schools, retail, office buildings, etc… Be comfortable working with both internal and external clients, customers, and key stakeholders. Conceptual Estimating and Building Information Modeling experience a plus.
