As a Senior Core Platform Engineer, you will shape IRC’s technical foundations and platform architecture. Your work spans REST, GraphQL, webhooks, event-driven interfaces, and relational databases. You will help evolve an intelligent insurance operating system used by more than 500 venue groups.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build RESTful APIs, GraphQL, webhooks, and event-driven interfaces
- Own service boundaries, data modelling, API contracts, and foundational patterns
- Establish backend standards for testing, errors, APIs, and service design
- Lead architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineer mentoring




- Communicate pragmatic engineering trade-offs across platform decisions

Requirements:

- Six to ten years of backend software engineering experience
- Deep production expertise with Node.js and TypeScript
- Robust command of REST, GraphQL, webhooks, and event-driven architecture
- Solid relational database knowledge, preferably PostgreSQL
- Ability to own architecture and set technical direction
