Care for elderly residents with empathy, solid communication, and personal support skills in a casual senior care assignment. Adapt to individual needs while following direction from the RPN charge nurse.

As a Casual Senior Care Attendant, you will provide care according to individual resident care plans. Duties include personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, meals, call bells, reporting, and infection control. The position requires experience preferably in a geriatric setting and a keen interest in working with seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Follow assignments and evaluations from the RPN
- Deliver personal care according to individual plans
- Answer call bells and address resident requests
- Notify supervisors about emergencies and incidents
- Report equipment malfunctions and fire hazards

Requirements:

- Community College Health Care Attendant Certificate
- Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent experience
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Two or more years of relevant experience preferred
- Empathy, adaptability, and interest in seniors

Use senior care experience, personal support training, and compassionate communication to assist residents throughout assigned casual shifts.
