Lead transaction accounting engagements at RSM, applying complex accounting expertise and client management skills in a predominantly hybrid workstyle. As a Director in RSM’s Deals Accounting and Strategic Finance practice, you will manage Transaction Accounting engagements and teams. The work includes business combinations, carve-outs, financial reporting readiness, accounting policies, and post-close integration. You will serve clients across financial services, technology, life sciences, manufacturing, and other industries.

Key Responsibilities

Manage concurrent engagements and engagement teams Coordinate consulting work plans and client deliverables Analyze business combinations, carve-outs, and reporting issues Design accounting policies, reporting structures, processes, and controls Support sell-side, day-one, and post-close readiness

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting At least nine years of experience Solid leadership and client management experience CPA or equivalent certification preferred Willingness to travel 25% or less Direct Transaction Accounting engagements at RSM through technical accounting, financial reporting readiness, leadership, and client advisory expertise.
