Use HTS and ECCN knowledge to classify Future Electronics products while supporting international trade compliance and export sales inquiries.
As a Trade Compliance Specialist, you will classify parts created in inventory and apply the correct Harmonized Tariff Number and Export Commodity Classification Number. The work involves interpreting country-specific regulations, updating records, and responding to sales and export questions. You will collaborate with Product Managers and Trade Team Members.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with Product Managers on daily part classification
Apply HTS and ECCN numbers to inventory products
Understand regulations governing international imports and exports
Respond to quote and export sales inquiries
Verify HTS numbers for USMCA requests
Requirements:
Minimum five years in product classification
Working knowledge of HTS and ECCN requirements
Five years of electrical component knowledge is an asset
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Intermediate Excel and Word skills
Support Future Electronics’ trade operations through accurate HTS, ECCN, regulatory, and USMCA classification work.
