Cook nourishing meals for children at Mighty Kids, combining menu planning with dietary accommodation and protected food preparation. Help sustain a clean campus kitchen serving daily care.

This Cook reports to the Centre Director and supports meal planning, preparation, service, inventory, and kitchen cleanliness. You will follow Canada’s Food Guide and Ministry guidelines while managing allergies, special diets, food orders, and budget expectations. One to two years of cooking experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children
Follow food safety and allergy protocols consistently
Keep meal service on schedule
Order food and monitor inventory levels
Collaborate on special events and food initiatives

Requirements:
Required High School Diploma, OSSD, or GED
Minimum one to two years cooking experience
Valid Food Handler’s Certification
Understanding of nutrition and food safety
Knowledge of Canada’s Food Guide
