Role Description As a Line Cook at Bayrut Restaurant, you will prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards in a busy kitchen setting. You will handle station setup and breakdown, including prepping ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring equipment is ready for service. Daily tasks include operating kitchen equipment safely, coordinating orders with the rest of the kitchen team, and maintaining high food safety and sanitation standards. You will assist with inventory rotation, labeling,



and storage, and may help with basic prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling dishes. This is a full time, in office role located in Montreal, QC.

Qualifications
Prior experience as a line cook, prep cook, or similar kitchen role in a restaurant setting.
Robust knowledge of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and food safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency.
Positive communication skills and the ability to collaborate with chefs, servers, and other kitchen staff.
Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
Familiarity with Mediterranean or Middle Eastern cuisine is an asset but not required.
Basic understanding of French or English (bilingual skills in Montreal are considered an advantage).
