As a Tractor Trailer Delivery Driver, you will transport fuel to customers, retail sites, and bulk plants. The work requires accurate inspections, secure loading, route adherence, and transparent communication with Dispatch. You will also maintain vehicle cleanliness, report hazards, and complete required records.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport petroleum products across required delivery locations
Plan routes and recommend delivery schedule improvements
Inspect trucks, trailers, tires, pins, and lights
Report hazards and unsafe situations to management
Complete shift reports and required paperwork accurately
Requirements:
Class 1 license with air brakes designation
Clean driver's abstract and Dangerous Goods Certification
WHMIS certification and high school diploma or GED
At least two years' commercial transportation experience
Liquid-load experience considered an asset
Bring sound judgment, technical skills, and protected Class 1 driving practices to Irving Oil's petroleum delivery operations.
