Protect retail establishments through theft investigations, patrols, and conflict resolution. This position requires frequent travel across various work locations.

The Retail Loss Prevention Officer investigates unlawful acts involving employees or patrons and monitors establishment activities. Responsibilities include producing evidence reports, operating security control room equipment, and preventing shoplifting. The work takes place in retail service establishments, including cold or refrigerated environments and all weather conditions.



Employees may need to appear in court as witnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate unlawful acts involving employees or patrons
• Prevent and detect shoplifting and retail theft
• Patrol assigned areas across various locations
• Operate security control room equipment
• Produce reports and appear as a court witness

Requirements:

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• One to less than seven months of experience
• Security Guard License and Police and security course certificate
• Use of force training and Smart Serve
• Own vehicle and cellular phone
