Lead financial reporting and accounting operations as BluMetric’s full-time Controller at its Ottawa headquarters. Oversee payroll, close, and internal reporting.
Reporting to the Vice President, Director – Finance, the Controller leads day-to-day accounting operations. Responsibilities include consolidated statements, external audits, sales tax remittances, and financial controls. The position also guides accounting team development and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities: Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close processes
Prepare and review consolidated financial statements
Lead audits, tax remittances, and corporate tax documentation
Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and reconciliations
Improve reporting, controls,



systems, and accounting processes
Requirements: CPA designation in valuable standing
At least six years of progressively responsible accounting experience
Experience preparing statements, payroll, reporting, and financial analysis
Leadership experience supervising, mentoring, and developing teams
Advanced Microsoft Office and accounting software proficiency
Bring CPA expertise, consolidated reporting, accounting leadership, and process improvement skills to BluMetric’s Ottawa finance team.
