This Principal Architect owns compute and storage capabilities supporting application, data, and engineering workloads. The work combines enterprise architecture with delivery depth across datacenter technologies, virtualization, storage, backup and recovery, containers, and cloud integration. You will translate workload needs into capabilities, roadmaps, and investment priorities.
Key Responsibilities: Set platform architecture, standards, guardrails, and modernization direction
Plan hosting, workload placement, capacity, performance, and platform lifecycle
Balance recoverability, compliance, performance, and infrastructure cost
Partner with business, engineering, security, operations,



and architecture teams
Manage availability, recovery readiness, capacity forecasting, and optimization
Requirements: Eight-plus years operating enterprise infrastructure platforms
Experience integrating on-premises and cloud platforms
Solid datacenter knowledge spanning servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling
Proven architecture standards and long-term modernization experience
Strong stakeholder communication and business-outcome translation skills
Bring hybrid infrastructure architecture, datacenter knowledge, modernization strategy, and stakeholder leadership to critical enterprise platforms.
