Trane Technologies is hiring a Senior Project Developer for its growing Energy Solutions team. This position supports acquisition and execution of complex contracting projects for buildings, including renewable and standard energy solutions. You will work with Sales to understand customer needs, develop turnkey design-build concepts, and prepare scopes, estimates, proposals, and financial materials. The role connects technical analysis with customer relationships and project profitability. Projects generally range from $2 million to $20 million, with occasional larger assignments.
Key Responsibilities: Audit facilities and identify energy conservation measures




Develop energy savings studies and technical solutions
Prepare subcontractor and vendor RFQs and RFPs
Assess project risks and construction scope changes
Determine measurement and verification methods
Requirements: Minimum 10 years of energy or HVAC experience
Engineering degree with thermal, fluid, energy, or controls background
Energy performance contracting experience preferred
CEM certification and Qualified Engineer Ontario designation preferred
Ability to travel within Ontario and Atlantic Canada
Bring energy services development, HVAC engineering, and customer-focused business judgment to Trane Technologies’ contracting projects.
