As Director, Domain Enterprise Architect, you will serve as Sun Life’s senior AI architecture authority. You will align AI investments with business and technology strategies while guiding executives, architects, platform leaders, Risk, Security, Compliance, Legal, and Data teams. The mandate covers artificial intelligence, machine intelligence, intelligent automation, and enterprise operating models.
Key Responsibilities: Define enterprise AI strategy, target architecture, and multi-year roadmaps
Establish standards, guardrails, reference models, and governance frameworks
Align investments and drive reuse across global business units
Advise executives on AI opportunities,



risks, and investment planning
Advance Responsible AI, human oversight, privacy, and regulatory compliance
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, AI, or related field
10+ years of architecture leadership experience
5+ years leading enterprise AI or related technology domains
Experience defining technology strategies and influencing senior executives
Expertise in Generative AI, Agentic AI, platforms, and orchestration frameworks
Direct Sun Life’s enterprise AI architecture with strategic leadership, governance expertise, executive influence, and measurable business outcomes.
