The Role You’ll act as the go‑to expert for complex structural design problems, providing advanced technical direction across multiple project teams. Expect involvement in concept development, detailed structural analysis, design reviews, buildability assessments, and solving non‑standard engineering challenges. You’ll help shape design standards, mentor engineers, and contribute to a Centre of Excellence focused on quality, innovation and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Work On Leading the technical design of complex structural projects
Developing efficient,



elegant and buildable structural solutions
Advanced analysis across steel, concrete, masonry and timber
Reviewing high‑risk or complex designs and providing specialist guidance
Supporting project teams with alternative approaches and engineering judgement
Driving design excellence, digital innovation and sustainability
Capturing lessons learned and improving technical processes
What You Bring Chartered Engineer (CEng MIStructE or CEng MICE)
Significant consultancy experience in structural design
Exceptional technical capability and deep understanding of structural behaviour
Robust experience solving complex, non‑standard engineering problems
Ability to guide engineers without taking ownership away from project teams
Excellent communication and commercial awareness
