Public equities research is central to IMCO’s Summer Intern Program. Based in downtown Toronto, this office-first hybrid placement develops investment analysis skills.
Working under the Managing Directors, Fundamental Equities, you will conduct in-depth research and identify investment opportunities. Your assignments include company and industry overviews, investment rationales, due diligence reviews, and recommendations. You will collaborate with the team while exercising investment judgment within broad guidelines, policies, and agreed methods.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth research across Fundamental Equities topics
Identify investment opportunities alongside the investment team
Develop company and industry overviews




Prepare investment rationales and due diligence reviews
Support at least two investment reports
Requirements: Third or fourth-year student in Finance, Business, or related field
Interest in public equities markets
Understanding of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows
Robust attention to detail and quantitative analysis
Ability to explain complex issues clearly
Develop investment research and judgment while supporting company evaluations and investment recommendations at IMCO in downtown Toronto.
