As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will deliver design activities for nuclear power plant systems, structures, and components. The work includes engineering documents, assessments, calculations, technical evaluations, and verification. You will define scope, requirements, schedules, budgets, and resources while resolving issues across multidisciplinary stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Define engineering scope, requirements, deliverables, budgets,



and schedules Perform and review technical assessments and design evaluations Prepare procurement documents and technical bid evaluations Review supplier documents and resolve design deviations Report engineering progress, risks, issues, and staffing needs

Requirements:

Accredited bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering discipline Canadian Skilled Engineer registration or eligibility At least 15 years of relevant engineering experience Experience delivering nuclear facility modifications through full lifecycle Strong written, oral, organizational, and decision-making skills Bring nuclear facility design, verification, procurement support, and engineering leadership experience to AtkinsRéalis's Port Elgin team.
