Operate trucks safely for Shaw Resources in Hardwoodlands, Nova Scotia, supplying local mills with raw material and supporting plant operations.
This Truck Driver position serves Shaw Resources, a division of The Shaw Group Limited. You will receive material from Elmsdale Lumber and other local sawmills, complete inspections, and maintain equipment. The work also includes sampling, reporting, customer service, and loader relief.
Key Responsibilities: Operate trucks safely and efficiently for plant supply
Receive raw material from local sawmills
Take samples and temperature readings
Complete deliveries, inspections, cleaning, and machinery maintenance
Provide loader operation relief when required
Requirements: Required Class 1 Driver’s License
Previous similar-position experience considered an asset
Physical ability to fulfill position requirements
Effective attention to detail and accuracy
