Responsibilities & Requirements Assist in the preparation and delivery of lessons from a framework provided by teachers.
Attend group meetings and report on class activities.
Capacity to facilitate group work using a student-centered, task-based learning approach and to explain the English verb system, sentence structure, and academic vocabulary to second language learners.
Previous ESL training and classroom experience is an asset.
Classroom multimedia experience is an asset.
Excellent command of the English language.
Interview may be required.
Other Information Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
These rates do not include vacation pay nor statutory pay.
