Chartwell seeks a Registered Practical Nurse with clinical expertise and empathy to support older adults through person-centered care.
As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will support residents’ health and well-being while building meaningful relationships. Your work includes assessment, medication administration, documentation, communication, and coordinated care. You will help create a safe, welcoming resident experience through professional nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities: Provide nursing care under College of Nurses standards
Monitor health, administer medications, and document care
Support resident transitions and inform families
Respond to concerns and escalate when needed
Guide care staff and participate in quality improvement
Requirements: Current provincial College of Nurses registration
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Flexible schedule and required screening checks
