The Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board seeks an Educational Assistant for classroom assistance and physical care. This temporary assignment is effective immediately until approximately November 30, 2026, without extending beyond June 30, 2027. Relevant experience includes Autism, developmental delays, behavior, anger management, and physical needs.
Key Responsibilities: Assist students with multiple physical and developmental needs
Support classroom learning and physical care requirements
Apply behavior modification strategies when appropriate




Use augmentative communication strategies with students
Support remote learning through digital tools and resources
Requirements: Two-year relevant post-secondary diploma
Experience supporting students with multiple needs
Ability to work effectively in a team setting
Knowledge of behavior modification strategies
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
