Come join us and Reach for Remarkable! Aramark Canada is seeking a reliable, customer-focused individual to join the Tim Hortons team located in the Life Sciences Centre at Dalhousie University. Reporting to the Supervisor, the Lead Hand is responsible for leading the front-line team in providing an exceptional customer service experience!
Job Responsibilities Assures quality, courteous customer service is provided to all customers
May be required to use grill, fryers, and ovens
Food preparation, including merchandising of food stations, and food service
Maintains continual cleaning and sanitizing of surrounding work area
Stock shelves, refrigerators and prep stations
Adhere to all Aramark and franchise policy and procedures
May assist Supervisor in adjusting team schedule based on team outages
May host team huddles to discuss safety briefs, events, and pertinent information
May perform other job duties as required
Qualifications 1+ years' experience in food service industry required
2+ years' experience in a leadership role required
Experience working at Tim Hortons franchise considered an asset
Exceptional customer service skills




Skilled in effective communication both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Flexible; evening and weekend work may be required
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
