The Quality Control Inspector will be performing first-off, in-process, and final inspections of Steelhaus products. The Quality Control Inspector will coordinate with other departments including assembly, manufacturing and shipping/receiving. Status: Full-Time Shift: Weekday Protecting their own and others' health and safety at or in the vicinity of the work site.
Using all hazard controls and wearing personal protection equipment designated or provided by the employer or required by the OHS legislation. Participating in any training provided by the employer. Prepping equipment prior to inspection. Verifying dimensions of parts machined using micrometers, calipers, other precision measuring instruments. Perform first article inspections on all product runs. Identify and segregate NCR parts and notify Quality Assurance and Control Coordinator. Responsible to identify needs for consumables to the Quality Assurance and Control Coordinator. Demonstrate experience using a variety of hand inspection tools. ~ Able to demonstrate basic computer skills (MS Office).
