The Personal Support Worker provides care according to resident care plans and assists with identifying resident needs. The role supports a secure, secure environment while documenting care information and reporting observations. You will also participate in education sessions, meetings, workshops, and directed staff onboarding.
Key Responsibilities: Provide care according to established resident care plans
Observe residents and report findings to supervisors
Document resident care information as directed
Follow infection prevention and control policies
Assist with onboarding new staff as directed
Requirements: Graduate of a Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma program
Meet Ministry of Training vocational standards
Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
Understand simple treatments and bedside care techniques
Know sanitation, cleaning, and geriatric resident needs
Bring resident care, documentation, bedside techniques, and infection prevention knowledge to AgeCare’s Personal Support Worker team.
