This General Maintenance Technician independently performs Maintenance Mechanic work and supports other maintenance trades as required. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, leveling, and aligning large numerically controlled machines. The position also involves maintaining facilities and working with pneumatic, vacuum, and industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Perform work outlined in the Maintenance Mechanic classification
Support maintenance trades as required
Provide general facility upkeep support
Troubleshoot and repair large numerically controlled machines
Level and align large numerically controlled machines
Requirements: Hold an Industrial Mechanics Millwright Red Seal certification
Bring three years of relevant machine maintenance experience
Know hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems
Understand CNC machines, furnaces, lathes, presses, and shears
Read, write, and communicate in English
Apply millwright certification and industrial troubleshooting skills to support reliable aerospace equipment and facility maintenance at Magellan Aerospace.
