You will support the Topman, pipe layers, and operators while learning trench support, pipe installation basics, and grade control. The work requires secure, organized assistance on active crews.
Key Responsibilities: Support Topman, pipe layers, and operators during trench work
Assist with pipe installation and trench support activities
Check line and grade using measurements and direction
Spot excavators and equipment around active underground crews
Maintain safe, organized, efficient trench operations
Requirements: Underground water and sewer construction experience preferred
Willingness to learn grade control and pipe support
Comfort working around trenches and excavators
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
WHMIS and CSTS 2020, or willingness to obtain
Bring reliability, safety awareness, and willingness to learn while supporting WCL water and sewer construction crews outdoors.
