Key Responsibilities

Lead concepts, analysis, drawings, specifications, and construction support Solve lateral systems, transfer structures,



and mixed-material building challenges Review and stamp intermediate and junior engineers' calculations and drawings Coordinate designs with architects and in-house engineering disciplines Support clients, construction reviews, mentoring, standards, proposals, and fee estimates

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering APEGA P.
Eng. registration in good standing Seven-plus years of structural building design experience Wood, steel, and concrete design experience RISA-3D, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, Alberta Building Code, and CSA knowledge Bring senior structural leadership, technical review, and multidisciplinary coordination to Design Works Engineering's growing Calgary team.
