This CUPE Teaching Assistant supports DTI5125/GNG5125, Section A, during the 2027 Winter Semester. The assignment includes student contact, grading, and proctoring for a course with 60 expected students. Two positions are available under the supervision of Arya Rahgozar.
Key Responsibilities: Support students through 25 hours of contact
Grade course work for 35 allocated hours
Proctor course activities for five allocated hours
Complete duties under an agreed work description
Requirements: Solid knowledge of Python and Jupyter Notebook
Familiarity with TensorFlow, Weka, and machine learning libraries
Knowledge of Git, Windows, Linux, and SQL
Preference for thesis-based Computer Engineering graduate students
GPA above 3.0 and machine learning thesis relevance preferred
Support Data Science Applications students at the University of Ottawa through grading, proctoring, Python, and machine learning expertise.
