Service refrigeration and HVAC systems for Black & McDonald in Regina or Saskatoon, applying troubleshooting and customer service skills daily. This hands-on position reports to the Service Supervisor.
Black & McDonald seeks an experienced Service Refrigeration Technician for its Service Division. The work includes refrigeration systems, RTUs, HVAC systems, chillers, and smaller refrigeration systems. You will inspect components, troubleshoot electrical and gas systems, recover refrigerant, and maintain service documentation.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain customers' refrigeration systems and HVAC equipment
Inspect compressors, condensers, evaporators, and expansion valves
Perform system checks, troubleshooting, and refrigerant recovery




Research complex system problems and resolve them
Complete service logs, reports, paperwork, and safety inspections
Requirements: High school diploma or GED
Previous HVAC or refrigeration technician experience
HVAC certification and brazing or soldering skills
Advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills
Clean Class 5 Saskatchewan driver's licence and abstract
Apply refrigeration maintenance, HVAC troubleshooting, and customer focus while supporting Black & McDonald service operations in Saskatchewan.
