This managerial role guides engineers and analysts while partnering with engineering, DevOps, and product teams. Its focus includes SDLC integration, continuous improvement, vulnerability remediation, and security posture measurement.
Key Responsibilities: Define and execute the application security roadmap
Manage and mentor application security engineers and analysts
Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines
Oversee threat modeling for critical applications




Coordinate web, mobile, and API penetration testing
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
Seven-plus years in application security or secure development
Three-plus years in leadership or management
Hands-on threat modeling, SAST, DAST, and penetration testing
Knowledge of Veracode, Checkmarx, Burp Suite, or OWASP ZAP
