Drive Seafood procurement at Loblaw through vendor management and data accuracy. Support sourcing activities across more than 3,000 retail stores nationwide.
As an Associate Buyer on Loblaw’s BEEP Team, you will support category procurement with domestic and offshore sourcing. The work includes vendor performance, costing, onboarding, quality, and supply risk management. You will collaborate across business functions to resolve availability and fulfilment challenges.
Key Responsibilities: Generate data and analyze vendor performance
Prepare presentation materials for Director and Buyers
Maintain accurate Seafood category system data
Facilitate vendor onboarding and recent product creation
Resolve availability challenges with cross-functional teams
Requirements: Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
At least one year in procurement, supply chain, or merchandising
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and collaborate
Financial, business, and retail knowledge
Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel and PowerPoint
Apply procurement, analysis, vendor management, and Microsoft Office skills supporting Loblaw’s Seafood portfolio and retail divisions.
