As an experienced Estimator, you will analyze specifications, drawings, and contract plans to prepare discipline estimates. The work requires construction estimating or cost control experience, robust technical writing, and prioritization. You will help align quantities and construction methods with pursuit, schedule, and price goals.
Key Responsibilities: Review proposal specifications, drawings, and pre-bid meeting information
Calculate complete material and scope quantity takeoffs
Incorporate historical productivity and purchasing data into estimates
Monitor client addenda and advise estimating teams




Research vendors and subcontractors for designated scopes
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
Ten-plus years in construction, estimating, or cost control
Advanced knowledge of HCSS Heavy Bid Estimating Software
Specialized alternative construction delivery methods experience
Ability to lead large or complex pursuit estimating activities
Use HCSS Heavy Bid, construction knowledge, and technical writing to deliver disciplined estimates supporting complex project pursuits.
