Lead maintenance execution readiness across PETRONAS Canada’s Northeast British Columbia operations through planning, coordination, and safety-focused field support. Camp work follows a 15-day-on, 13-day-off rotation.
This Maintenance Execution Specialist assignment suits an experienced trade qualified from upstream oil and gas or gas processing. You will support Maintenance Leads, planners, trades, and Operations by identifying execution risks and improving work packages. The position requires sound judgment under pressure, effective field-office communication, and accurate Maximo documentation. You will also analyze recurring planning issues and recommend improvements to job plans, templates, and maintenance processes.
Key Responsibilities: Identify resource constraints and sequencing conflicts before field execution
Coordinate field teams with planning, supply chain,



and scheduling
Support complex work package and execution strategy development
Analyze recurring planning and execution issues
Recommend improvements to maintenance plans, templates, and processes
Requirements: Eight years’ hands-on trade experience in relevant operating environments
Three-plus years’ maintenance planning or lead-hand experience
Ability to plan complex multi-discipline maintenance work
Ability to communicate across field and office teams
Ability to obtain required safety certifications
Bring trade experience, execution leadership, and maintenance planning judgment to PETRONAS Canada’s safety-sensitive operations.
