Operate a reach truck in Mississauga while handling warehouse duties, shipments, and products in a fully onsite distribution centre.
Aerotek is hiring an experienced Reach Truck Operator for a contract-to-hire position. The work combines reach truck operation, material handling, pallet organization, order picking, and shipment verification. Approximately 60% of each shift involves reach truck operation, with general warehouse duties comprising the remaining 40%. The scheduled shift runs from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Key Responsibilities: Operate reach trucks throughout warehouse aisles and at height
Move, store, and retrieve products across the warehouse
Break down, sort, and organize incoming pallets
Pick orders and verify incoming and outgoing shipments
Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety procedures
Requirements: Valid external reach truck license
Previous reach truck experience in a warehouse or distribution centre
Material handling, pallet sorting, or general labour experience
Ability to lift and move products up to 50 pounds
Reliable for the 6:00 a.m. start with steel-toe safety shoes
