The Jr. Estimator supports the estimating and pre-construction process by assisting with project pricing, tenders, and proposal preparation. This role is well suited for someone who is highly detail oriented and comfortable working with numbers, documentation, and common software technology. You will work closely with office staff, designers, and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely project estimates.

Requirements

Solid attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numbers while keeping documentation organized at all times

High proficiency in written and spoken English

Comfortable sourcing quotes from trades and suppliers

Ability to complete takeoffs for ordering and budgeting purposes

Comfortable working with software technology including Microsoft Office and estimating/builder software

Assist with multiple estimates and tenders at once





Input costs into builder software and build project estimates

Liaise with clients, designers, and suppliers to confirm specifications and product selections

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Experience assisting with project tenders and bid proposals

Strong written communication skills for proposal and document assembly

Ability to create cost codes and standard pricing templates

Ability to complete quotes and estimates in a timely manner

Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist the office manager with miscellaneous tasks as required
