This Health Care Aide position serves residents in a long term care setting. You will support hygiene, nutrition, mobility, recreation, and safety needs according to care plans. Collaboration with nurses, families, caregivers, and health professionals is central to the work.
Key Responsibilities: Support residents with activities of daily living
Provide assistance with hygiene, nutrition, and mobility
Assist nurses with routine resident care
Observe and report residents' mood, health, and wellbeing
Maintain protected environments for patients, staff, and visitors
Requirements: Active or eligible Health Care Aide registration in Alberta
Health Care Aide Certificate within eighteen months of hire
Experience working in a long term care setting
Strong English speaking and documentation skills
Ability to prioritize multiple demands independently
