Protect Homewood Health’s people-centered care workplace as a Security Guard using emergency response and de-escalation skills. This is permanent part-time work up to 24 hours.
Working at Homewood Health, you will support clients, customers, and colleagues within a mental health organization. The role includes security operations, fire safety, parking enforcement, and emergency coordination. You will also monitor control centres, document incidents, and support maintenance responses.
Key Responsibilities: Enforce Homewood’s smoke-free policy throughout the centre
Conduct parking patrols and document enforcement actions
Respond to emergencies and coordinate with Switchboard
Complete fire inspections, drills, and alarm system procedures




Record required tours, incidents, repairs, and maintenance concerns
Requirements: Security Guard License and Police, Law and Security Diploma
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Valid Ontario Driver’s License Class G
Six months’ security, police, or fire experience
Ability to de-escalate situations and write comprehensive reports
Use security operations, emergency response, and communication skills to support safe, compassionate services at Homewood Health.
