What You’ll Do As an RVT at South Burnaby Veterinary Hospital, you’ll play an important role in supporting our veterinarians and providing high-quality nursing care to our patients.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures.

Providing compassionate nursing care and monitoring hospitalized patients.

Monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgical procedures.

Performing laboratory diagnostics and supporting treatment planning.

Educating clients on patient care, medications,



and recovery.

Maintaining accurate medical records and supporting hospital protocols and compliance.

Collaborating with veterinarians, fellow RVTs, and veterinary assistants to maintain an efficient workflow.

Helping maintain supplies, inventory, equipment, and a clean, organized hospital environment.

What We’re Looking For Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in good standing with the appropriate provincial regulatory body.

Strong technical, patient-care, and communication skills.

Ability to stay organized and calm in a busy environment.
