Financial analysis and credit assessment define this Senior Analyst role with EDC’s Mid-Market Lending team. Work under EDC’s hybrid mode from Calgary, Vancouver, or Winnipeg.
As a Senior Analyst, you will support senior and junior debt transactions for Canadian companies expanding internationally. The work includes financial modeling, credit analysis, due diligence, and transaction execution. You will collaborate with Legal, Business Development, Finance, Advisory teams, and Financing Managers.
Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and progress financing opportunities against program objectives
Prepare financial models, cash flow analyses, and portfolio materials
Assist with credit assessments, deal structuring, and due diligence
Draft credit memorandum sections for governance committees
Monitor covenants,



portfolio performance, and emerging risks
Requirements: Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or related field
Approximately two to three plus years of relevant experience
Experience in corporate lending, structured finance, or credit analysis
Foundational financial analysis, credit assessment, and modeling experience
Strong communication, collaboration, and information synthesis skills
Apply financial modeling, credit assessment, and transaction skills as EDC’s Senior Analyst supporting international growth financing.
