This permanent Veterinary Receptionist role with CVS Vets covers West Mount Veterinary Centre locations in Halifax and Huddersfield. You will manage appointments, answer enquiries, welcome clients, and support patients through an in-house system. The position offers 40 hours weekly, with consideration for 20-hour applications.
Key Responsibilities: Handle incoming calls and schedule veterinary appointments efficiently
Welcome and register new clients warmly
Process insurance forms, payments, debts, and refunds
Dispense medications and organise patients using in-house systems




Provide empathetic support during distressing situations
Requirements: Previous receptionist or demanding client-focused experience required
Veterinary reception experience is beneficial
Solid communication, empathy, and customer service skills
Resilience and professionalism during emotional situations
Microsoft Office and database systems proficiency
