This casual Registered Practical Nurse position delivers nursing care according to medical requirements and skilled standards. Working with Registered Nurses and health care partners, you support resident needs, communicate status changes, and participate in shift reporting. The position requires geriatric, rehabilitation, or long term care nursing knowledge.
Key Responsibilities: Implement AgeCare policies and procedures with Registered Nurses
Provide direction to Personal Support Workers
Liaise with physicians and health care partners




Report significant resident status changes promptly
Participate in shift reports with care teams
Requirements: Knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation, or long term care nursing
Understanding of activation, nursing, and personnel administration
Current College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Competence
Membership in good standing with the College of Nurses
Knowledge of applicable nursing home legislation and standards
Bring resident-focused nursing expertise, team communication, and PSW direction to AgeCare’s casual Registered Practical Nurse position.
