As a Personal Support Worker, you provide care according to resident care plans and help identify changing needs. You monitor care, observe residents, report findings, and assist with documentation. The position also supports a protected environment while following IPAC policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Provide resident care according to established care plans
Observe residents and report findings to supervisors
Assist with documenting resident care information
Attend education sessions, meetings, and workshops
Follow infection prevention and control policies
Requirements: Graduate of a Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma program
Meet Ministry of Training vocational standards
Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
Meet Ontario Community Support Association standards
Understand bedside care, sanitation, and geriatric resident needs
Bring resident care, observation, documentation, and IPAC knowledge to AgeCare’s Personal Support Worker team.
