Support daily living, safety, and wellbeing as a Health Care Aide with Assisted Living Alberta in Smoky Lake Community Health.
This temporary part time Health Care Aide works within Home Care as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will support patients, families, and caregivers across home, community, and health care facilities. The position supports patients requiring short-term assistance or ongoing care under a patient care plan.
Key Responsibilities: Support activities of daily living according to care plans
Assist nurses with hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and safety needs
Support organized activities and recreation programs
Observe and report patients’ mood, health, and wellbeing
Maintain safe environments and effective communication
Requirements: Active or eligible CLHA registration or practice permit
Health Care Aide education or certificate completion within eighteen months
Ability to work under regulated health professional supervision
Driver’s license and vehicle required
Availability for days, evenings, and weekends
