Carewest seeks a casual Health Care Aide in Calgary to support residents and clients through compassionate, secure, ongoing care.
This HCA works as a regulated interprofessional health care team member, reporting directly to the Director of Care. At Carewest, caring, relationships, excellence, accountability, and teamwork guide service delivery. The Sarcee RCTP provides short-stay restorative care for medically stable adults requiring additional assessment, recuperation, or therapy.
Key Responsibilities: Support clients throughout their health care journey
Monitor physical and emotional status changes
Communicate client condition changes to nursing staff
Administer prescribed medications according to established procedures
Maintain professional and ethical standards consistently
Requirements: Graduate from an Alberta-recognized Health Care Aide program
High school diploma or equivalent qualification
Current active CLHA registration
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Frequent client lifting, transferring, and repositioning capability
Use your Health Care Aide training, compassion, and communication skills to support quality care and safety at Carewest.
