THE ROLE: Our Edmonton-based client is seeking a Senior Accountant for a contract opportunity supporting critical financial reporting activities, month-end processes, and key finance initiatives.

This role is ideal for a designated accounting professional who thrives in a quick-paced environment, enjoys working with complex reconciliations and working papers, and can quickly contribute to a high-performing team Responsibilities: Lead month-end close activities, including reconciliations, working papers, and supporting schedules Prepare financial reporting packages and support IFRS-compliant financial statements and disclosures Perform detailed variance analysis and provide insights to support business decisions Assist with finance-related projects, process improvements, and system initiatives Support year-end requirements, including inventory counts, rollbacks, and reconciliations as needed Partner with a collaborative finance team to meet tight reporting deadlines Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across accounting processes and controls ABOUT YOU:
